Terms
Terms of Use
These terms explain how GoodUp is provided and what the app is, and is not, designed to do.
Provider
GoodUp is provided by StatGazer LLC (“we”, “us”). Your use of the GoodUp iPhone application is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies by default to applications distributed through the App Store.
Record-keeping, not receipts
GoodUp is a personal record-keeping tool. Entries you create are your own private notes. They are not receipts, and they are not substantiation for any tax deduction. U.S. tax rules require a written acknowledgment from the receiving organization for certain contributions. Keep the documentation your tax advisor requires, independently of this app.
No advice
GoodUp does not provide halachic, religious, tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice. Any calculation the app performs is a convenience based on the figures you enter. Practices differ between communities and circumstances; consult your own rav and your own advisors.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Your entries are stored on your device; if the app is removed, the data is removed with it. Maintain your own backups if the records matter to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StatGazer LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of GoodUp.
Trademarks
GoodUp™ is a trademark of StatGazer LLC.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
